Stryker VariAx2® Elbow Plating System
The Stryker VariAx2 Elbow plating system is another implant that is available for surgically treating elbow fractures. These plates utilize the SmartLock technology to allows screws to be placed in a polyaxial fashion. This allows locking screws to be placed in 30-degree zone, which aids in optimal fracture reduction and fixation. Plates are available in two different 180 degrees and 90-degree options for the distal humerus. Non-locking and locking screws are available in two different sizes.
