While all defibrillators do the essential task of delivering a shock to save the patient’s life, Biotronik’s defibrillator has several available unique features including DX technology and closed loop stimulation. DX technology allows the device to do some of the features of a two wire system with only one wire reducing the amount of hardware that is implanted in the patient. Closed loop stimulation is a pacing feature that helps optimize adjusting heart rates with activity and exertion.
