Allergan Natrelle®
Allergan Natrelle® silicone implants rely on a highly cohesive gel to achieve stability of form. This technology also reduces the risk of gel extrusion in the event of shell compromise. A firmer feel to the implants results from the highly cohesive gel. Natrelle implants are available in 3 different types of cohesivity so that surgeon and patient together can select an implant best suited for their needs. Currently, they are only available in smooth textures. Their breast implants are the most commonly used in the United States. For staged breast reconstructions, their implants are paired with Natrelle tissue expanders to be typically used at the time of mastectomy.
